Interact For Health’s Funders Response to the Heroin Epidemic Campaign
Creative Strategy & Direction // Campaign Execution
Interact for Health approached Hyperquake seeking a campaign to help decrease the stigma of addiction while increasing hope and solutions. We conducted over 400 interviews across 11 counties in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area and read the book Dreamland to gain a deep understanding of this complex issue.
We learned
Addiction is a chronic brain condition. Addiction is not a moral flaw, but how we treat those with it often is.
We must create empathy to change stigma.
Many people are looking for help and we must provide them actionable steps to get it.
Recovery is possible but it is not a straight path.
Isolation is often where addiction thrives.
The Result over a three-month period was over 28 million campaign impressions and over 61,000 campaign clicks with 99% of positive reactions on Facebook.
